Frozen Shoulder Can Be Quite Burdensome

When I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder, I had no idea what that even meant. I knew that it was painful though, because I was not able to move my arm very much at all. I could raise my hand a little bit, but there was no way I could raise my arm even a fraction of what I could before my diagnosis. My doctor is the one who diagnosed it in me, and she recommended that I see an Oklahoma City chiropractor for a full treatment plan.

She had told me that there really is no treatment that she could do for me other than surgery or physical therapy, and she had other patients who were given additional options while under chiropractic treatment. Since I did not want to go through surgery, I decided to go ahead and see what a chiropractor could do for me. I was missing the use of my arm, so I made the earliest appointment possible. I knew that this was going to require time and perseverance, and I wanted to make sure that I was under the right professional helping me to get better.

I was happy with the chiropractor that she suggested I see, especially after she told me that this chiropractor is the one who has helped other frozen shoulder patients of hers with different alternatives. I was able to get in that week, and I was so happy with everything that they told me. I told them up front I did not want surgery, and they agreed with me. They showed me different exercises I could do at home, plus I was set up with a physical therapist to help me gain some use of my arm back. It did take a while to get full use back, but I know that I made great strides with the chiropractic therapy I did as well.
